The Destination

Phang Nga, is Thailand’s undiscovered, unspoiled holiday destination.

dream province, despite seeing it in numerous movies.

Exotic Fishing Thailand’s setting is unlike that of any other fishery in the kingdom.
Perfectly situated between Phuket and Krabi set amongst the breath-taking backdrop of phang nga’s national parks.
Ao Phang Nga and Khlong Khanom. covering a total area over 500 square kilometers
and consisting of some of the world’s most famous landscapes and beaches.

For example “James Bond Island” is just 25 minutes from Exotic Fishing Thailand. Maya Bay used in the famous 1980s movie “The Beach ” just a short boat ride away. The dramatic limestone mountain scenery around our resort goes as far as the eye can see and has featured in several “Star Wars” Movies.

Exotic Fishing Thailand is home to over 300 Specimen Fish over the magical 100lb+ mark.

However that is not the end of the story!

More than a hundred of these are in excess of the 200lb mark including a number
of record size specimens up to 400lb, ensuring that even the most die hard of Specimen Hunters
has a long list of targets to consider during each and every visit to us, which is why so many of our anglers return year on year.

Giant Mekong Catfish to 400lbs

Arapaima over 360lbs

Giant Siamese Carp to 130lbs

Freshwater Stingray to 250lbs

Rita Salween Catfish over 100lbs

Chao Phraya Catfish over 130lbs

Alligator Gar to 110lbs

Wallagoo Leeri over 130lbs

10 Species over the 100lb mark, and another 50+ Species of which
several attain world record sizes in the fishery.

Amazing place, Just Amazing..... One of my favourite places on Earth

I have visited Exotic fishing Thailand many times now with friends and family and every visit has been a very special experience. In recent visits I have been coming with my son and he loves this place as much as me and is becoming quite the young angler. Everything about the place is Amazing, Mike the owner, the staff and the guides are all so friendly, helpful and very professional. The food is excellent and presented beautifully, The accommodation is spacious, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The lake and setting is just stunning and then you get to the fishing...... what can I say, well the fishing is out of this world

Amazing set up. Wow what a weekend! I can highly recommend EFT as your premium fishing destination for both a relaxing and action packed fishing holiday. From arrival to finishing up and everything in between was super.....
So now the fishing. We caught over 40 fish in 2 days. 6 Arapaimas, Chao Praya catfish, Alligator fish, Amazon Red Tail, Albino Pacu and some other impressive species which I forgot the name of. Staff and service is super. Well organised, attentive, friendly. Great food and drinks from the restaurant which they can deliver to your Sala at the lake and yeah AMAZING fishing.

Perfect Fishing

Fishing and stayed four days and nights, we catch 5 Arapiama the first day and some catfish, Arapaima up to 120kg, the next day 3 Arapaima up to 100 kg, some different catfish and one Siamese carp about 30kg, the accommodation was terrific with nice rooms an a wiew over the lake, everything very nice and clean. Must be 5 stars !!!

Boatman Baitboat made the difference

After a discussion with the owner Mike I decided to rent one of the Boatman Bait boats . This made all the difference in delvering bait to the same spot every time and resulted in some amazing catches . My favorite being a Juilens Golden Carp. This was the second visit for my partner Amanda and I and we will be back .
